Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed by this! It especially drives me nuts when it's a book/book series, or a case where we've seen the character's name actually spelled out onscreen. Or a situation when a character's just been introduced and they're not listed in any official guides or whatnot yet, so people have to guess at the spelling. And rather than go with a common spelling until we find out for sure, like "Bryan" or "Brian", someone will insist on spelling it "Breiynne" or some shit. Or someone will write "Jhon (sp?)" EVERY FUCKING TIME THEY USE IT, rather than take the five seconds it takes to look it up and spell it correctly.

Apparently I have a lot of feelings about spelling names properly!
