Only tangentially related, but the concept of "home" has always been weird to me. At least here, "home" = "where your parents live". People will say "so and so still lives at home after graduating from college" or "they moved back home to take care of their sick mother" and my mom's always said something along the lines of that if my brother or I lost our jobs and weren't able to pay the bills we could always "come back home", and it seriously bugs me.

When I moved out and got my own place, my parents' house ceased being home. They still live in the house my brother and I grew up in, but now it's "my parents' house" and mine is "home".

Not sure what the point of this comment is, but yeah. I find it weird.
