Re: Homesick
Where "home" is, depends. For me, it's usually where I'm not at the moment. Like, in a week I'll say "I'm going back home" and I'll mean where I live, and not my family. During the last year, actually, I've been more saying "going to [town name] / my family" and not "going home" when talking about, well, going to visit my family.

(Anonymous) 2013-02-24 09:08 am (UTC)(link)When I moved out and got my own place, my parents' house ceased being home. They still live in the house my brother and I grew up in, but now it's "my parents' house" and mine is "home".
Not sure what the point of this comment is, but yeah. I find it weird.
