(Anonymous) 2013-02-24 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)That was probably narrow-minded of her or badly worded, but she is right that many people only consider a female character "feminist" or "strong" when they act tough, don't cry and generally aspire to rid themselves of typically feminine traits or behaviour.
The message I got from her was that a "feminist character (TM)" shouldn't be measured by how much they can resemble a man.
