OMG, I am with you there 100% OP. It still depresses me to much to think about. I'd love to rewatch the series as I missed bits and pieces of the early seasons, but I'm just so disheartened about Joe. He just made the show for me. I mean, I loved all the characters but it was an episode that featured a lot of Joe that really drew me in because he was so awesome. :(

I've seen Russian thistles in westerns but I can't think of a single one where a character refers to them by any name at all. They're in the background, but who actually talks about them??

Sam Carter/Cameron Mitchel - best brother/sister bond ever. Generally I like Carter's relationship with all her male friends (I don't ship any of them, platonic ftw!) but something about Sam and Cam I just find extra happy making.

This is why I believe Harry's class was so small that year, actually. Less people actually did have kids during the war. There has to be more girls per year than the three Gryffindor has during Harry's schooltime.

Yup-and she's their defacto leader (if it's not outright mentioned). Celestia personally summons Twilight and wants to train her. What the hell else would she be training her for? It's kind of lazily implied "magic stuff", but that doesn't explain a ton of the episodes where she's having the importance of love and friends hammered home (i.e. good qualities that Celestia seems to want embodied in a leader).

romantic comedy anime/dorama?

I'm currently watching Toradora! and it's adorable and sweet! BUT I WANT MORE. Does anyone have any recs for anime/doramas that has romance as either the main plot or a strong subplot? Preferably something I can watch on either CrunchyRoll or Hulu, haha, but if you give me links I'll happily watch elsewhere. :3

(ftr, the only doramas I've watched are Marry Me, Mary and You're Beautiful (Korean)). :3

I liked both characters but I didn't like them together. I don't even understand why they liked each other. I mean, I'm sure there must be valid reasons but we didn't get to see them.

And I wanted Tonks to have some fun nights with Harry and then settle down with Charlie, after the war, so I can't say I was pleased when Rowling paired her up with Remus.

Yep. I'm not confident this movie will do well at all, which is unfortunate--if someone with sense actually took the reins of a movie like this maybe we'd start seeing a cool trend of 'behind the scenes' Disney movies. The life of Ariel's sisters, of Cinderella's childhood, of Lumiere and Cogsworth's life as furniture, etc.

But this is probably going to bomb, which means never again, or it's going to do well, and we'll continue to see crap.

I kinda want it to do badly, though, since I feel Jolie is such a horrible choice.

I LOVE, LOVE what they are doing with Sherlock and Joan on Elementary. They have this almost sibling relationship. Joan has been glowing like a little kid since she's become an apprentice detective to Sherlock.

I also love the friendships between Sally, Josh and Aidan on the Syfy version of Being Human. The cast has possibly the best chemistry of television right now.

i disagree. i have seen intelligent anon discussions here. i've also seen completely vitriolic crap spat back and forth between non-anons. what it boils down to is that it's going to be the same group of people regardless. no more messy, no less messy.

It seems like "successor" and "alicorn" are really just semantics at this point, since apparently in the show, the only princesses are all alicorns.

Though this does raise an interesting question: Can any pony become an alicorn, or can only unicorns do it? Are earth ponies and pegasai basically fucked and can never ascend to princessdom as a result?
