i don't think it's unbelievable at all, and i think it's a bit shitty that anybody suggest that people have a choice in whether heartbreak seriously affects them and their capacity, like they're pathetic or weak if that happens, and so obviously superior if it doesn't.

I don't usually ship RPF, but I stumbled upon a few fics of this pairing that are just so cute that I can't help but ship it now.

+1 on both counts!

It is always strange to watch a show or movie after you know the actor has died. Stuff like the Crow and the Twilight Zone movie are especially weird to watch since the actors died on set in filming-related accidents.

LOL, that was almost incidental. The finale was one of the most insane hours of TV I've ever seen, it spanned several decades and jumped about 500 sharks.

Her Les Miserables stuff makes me sad, though! I agree that she's good, though, and I understand that the source material does not lend itself to happy endings.

I'm not familiar with Les Mis, but honestly, most of the ships I ship I ship because of good shipping fics, or maybe a convincing manifesto, and rarely because I came out of the canon experience wanting it.

I've been devouring the fic and lately all I've been searching for is actual in character fic, and not fanon in-character, but I dont' know how to ask for it because it seems kind of insulting to be all "no, while these are awesome fics they are in no way in character to the show I just watched." So yeah I feel you, I love the fandom and their blatant love of kinks and tropes but sometimes I just can't take it.

Hmmmm. I would not rule out moe shows displaying some aspects, or especially having characters voicing some statements, which could be considered misandry (which does exist in a non-institutionalized sense). It's not out of the question that someone could be bothered by that. According to my possibly incorrect understanding of the genre, the whole thing is built on objectification of women which could be considered misogyny. So really, not suitable for anyone sensitive to gender politics?

...but really, you said "misandry" in the same sentence as "cute+hot girls". I think you're a troll.
