I poked at it a couple of times, but it never really grabbed me. But then, the first season of Morel Orel didn't do anything for me either, and I ended up loving it. Maybe it's worth another go.

Yeah, he's so ridiculously hostile that you wouldn't expect it in real life. One of my other groups mates has literally told him he's the angriest, most disagreeable person she's ever known, and he's the one holding up progress, and his response?

"No I'm not." And then proceeds to argue about why he's not disagreeable and hostile.

Just wanna fucking bang my head against a wall sometimes. He's so disrespectful to other people, when he whines so hard to get respect himself. He's cut me off so many times in the middle of sentences, while yelling at me and others when they do it to him.

Well, they showed us Starswirl's book at the start of season 3, and Twilight had had a 'big crowny thing' since the start of season one. So not out of nowhere. It was introduced a lot better than the royal wedding plotline.

There's a definite charge in Rainbow Dash and Applejack's rivalry. And Applejack takes pretty much any excuse to tie her up. I wouldn't say it's not shippy at all.

Exactly! In fact we've been going out of our way to make sure he feels included, sending emails to BOTH of his accounts (that he never responds to), and making sure to divide up work so that he gets what he wants.

But somehow we're still excluding him. He stormed out in a huff before the prof was even done talking tonight, just to show his anger and disgust at getting away from us.

Yay Mindy Project! The show is very sitcom-y but I love the Mindy/Danny relationship and I do appreciate its existence in the name of diversity as well. Good times all around.

no problem. yeah I would definitely check out some of the student organizations. if you have a specific interest then there might even be a club for it full of people who are into the same stuff that you are. and plenty of people join clubs to make friends, anyway, so oftentimes they do activities and events just so members can get to know eachother. I joined a lot of weird shit freshman year and this is true for basically any group you could think of. keep looking & I'm sure you'll find some people you like!

Ichigo and Rukia. I think they have the most perfect platonic friendship/bromance going. I can't really see them romantically involved, but I definitely see them as being there for and supporting eachother in any way needed for the rest of their existances.

It's not that they got away with it so much as the fact that they were irrelevant in the first place. The reason T-ara's scandal went so far is because T-ara was definitely on the rise, with a growing fanbase. 5Dolls/Co-ed...not so much.

Agreed. Everyone involved with it is constantly saying the real appeal is the marriage storyline, and they'd be right. The spy stuff is great (and IMO very realistic compared to other "spy" movies/shows) and so is the political stuff, but the emotional pull to it is the relationship between P & E.

The only time this happens to me is when the fic consistently is just not my cup of tea. And I wouldn't say I stop shipping ANYTHING. If I liked it once, I think I like it permanently. But I'll stop looking for fic and art, and fic and art are generally 80 percent of the fun for me, so it really does take the wind out of my sails when it happens.

Prime example: Harry/Hermione. Couldn't care less about the ship wars and the wank. Just didn't like the fic. At all.
