Hmm. The art of this game looks very similar to a DS game I read about in Nintendo Power once *very vague and unhelpful* I think it was Get a Taste of Miami Law?

Not surprised. In fact, a similarly-themed Choose Your Own Adventure type game called "Surviving High School" came out for iPad/Pod/Touch and for the Nintendo DS. There's a playthrough of that on YouTube as well.

I've totally played parts of that game, haha. There was a detective game in that vein I also played for the iPod/iPad as well. I am guessing this is it? I thought it was fun, but I forgot about it waiting for other chapters to come out. I should look at it again!

SHS came out much earlier (and better) for regular cell phones in 2006/2008, and I won't let anyone forget it.

Is that the game? I've never heard of some of these things before.

Yes, that's the game :) I remember it didn't get the best score, but I believe it has it's fans. I'm a big fan of the detective games Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, and Ghost Trick. All great and fairly cheap mystery games for the DS.
