For instance, the character in my icon is Shuurei from Saiunkoku Monogatari. Though she isn't the most physically-strong character, she is smart, kind, and determined to fulfill her dream of becoming the first female politician in Saiunkoku, even though she has to overcome many obstacles to do so. I find her to be a strong female lead.
For that matter, I agree with those people who wonder why some BL/slash fans hate female characters for "all being wimps" when many BL uke characters have many characteristics that, if they were female, would have them labeled "wimps" in a second by many of these fans. It feels like a double standard.
