(Anonymous) 2013-03-11 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)-- if i was indifferent to it? Don't care, be happy it was made canon just for visibility reasons. if I hated the pairings... I guess it depends on why I hate it? If I hate it just cause it doesn't particularly jive with my wishes, i might still be okay with it cause more visibility in the media is an important thing. OTOH, sometimes I hate a pairing because it is so unhealthy (but often not portrayed that way by the fans) In that case I might prefer it being not canon cause a, i don't always trust canons to deal with unhealthy relationships properly, and b, if the only gay pairing in a canon is immediately an unhealthy one that casts some really unfortunate implications.
