Yeah, I'm in the "tag that shit whatever it is" camp. I don't think tagging something as slash = thinking slash is something that needs to be "warned" for, I think it = helping people who want it to find it.

I really do fucking wish people would tag their underage stuff, though. That can cause actual legal troubles as well as potentially freaking people out, so it would be nice if it was standard practice for it to be tagged and/or behind a cut. Not doing so makes navigating certain fandoms a minefield >:(

See, this is my thought process too. What if I specifically want to search for some specific kink or plot type? If I do, and you didn't tag your stuff, doesn't matter how fucking awesome it is cause I won't be finding it to read it. Tagging, to me, always seemed like a way to put more information out there to help readers decide if your stuff is what they want or not. No shaming involved.

But then, I'm a librarian. I like helping people find the things they want.
