I think this is just a problem in fandom in general.

God forbid you ask people politely to tag a kink or whatever and then get it shoved down your throat that you're kinkshaming them. It's fucking ridiculous. Or hell, asking people to tag anything is an instant insult if it happens to be something that other people like.

People like things. People dislike things. Stop making it a fucking personal attack.
