...they are not at all like I imagined. It's just a cheap marshmallow rolled in gritty, colored sugar. >:(

I dunno. A more marshmallowy marshmallow but now flavored? Was seriously not expecting the sugar coating. Blech.

But...you can see the sugar coating when you look at it. It looks like it's covered in sugar.

Also, have you tried a flavored marshmallow? They're pretty nasty. It's not easy to flavor a marshmallow.

Anyway, if you want to go for the good stuff, have some Cadbury Eggs. Those things are the best.

Yeah they're pretty much terrible, ungodly, bizarre food. They're not very good. But weirdly addictive.

I decided to have my first Twinkie ever when Hostess went out of business and everyone was snapping them up - figured I should try one while I still could. And that was exactly what I thought of Twinkies. "These are pretty awful. Like stale yellow cake surrounding frosting made with too much sugar and no actual flavor. ...I wish I had bought more."

I have an odd relationship with peeps. I kinda think they're disgusting but if you put them in front of me I'll eat too many and immediately regret it.

I just ate three of the little bastards and the entire time I was looking at them with an expression of shocked betrayal at each bite. The only reason I stopped is because my brother only brought me three. WTF?

Yeah pretty much. They're really only good for a "shoutout to all my peeps" joke and you can only do that once before it stops being slightly funny.

They're good because they're basically an excuse to eat pure sugar without people looking at you weird.

Ah. *vom* I hate sugar by itself. The thought of crunching down on a spoonful makes me want to puke. Guess I'm just not the demographic for this product then. :(

My mother's cure for a sore throat is a spoonful of chopped garlic in honey, which works, but I've been known to retch it up a little because the honey is too much for me. Unfortunately it doesn't work as well when it's just the garlic.

When I was a kid I could only eat one or two and now I can't even touch them, too much sugar bleh

I kind of like the chocolate covered marshmallow eggs and that sort of thing you find around this time of year but the marshmallow in those isn't gritty like Peeps

Haters to he left! I love peeps. Oddly enough I hated them when I was a kid, maybe because we only ever got the pink ones and I can taste the bitterness in the food coloring? It was only a few years ago I developed bizarre love for them.

Was it stale? They taste way better stale. The texture...it's entirely dissimilar to stale marshmallow, and it's really good in a weird way that you will never be able to explain.

Take that with a grain of salt though--I haven't eaten them since I was a kid.
