1. YES! Kino is so much win \o/

I'm not saying this just because one of my icons is up there (and I went "WHOA my icon is in a secret!" after opening the cut), but I only agree with you partly. :/ Yes, art by Arina Tanemura and CLAMP is very overused in icons, and yes, icons with the same styles tend to win those icontests. But it's not fair to generalize that all iconists who make icons out of those pictures aren't creative – it is possible to make a creative icon with any image, no matter how generic or overrated, in my humble opinion. It's not the iconmakers who are "better" or "more original" in shounen icontests, it's the images... but hey, that's just me ^^; Regardless of the way you worded it, you've made a good point that needed to be brought up.

OMG yes, my icons are interesting but they are not Pretty and don't use enough Soft Color Filters and Useful Words so they don't ever win anything, wtf?! It's frustrating.

1. OMG Kino! I've read the first novel, and I think she's so cool! I love how she just wants to hear and people's stories and struggle, and just learn about the world. And Hermes is adorable (especially for a motorcycle!)

30. WORD. Really, I'd watch Naruto if it weren't for Naruto and Sasuke. Lee should be the main character. I find his struggle with not having ninjutsu or genjutsu and his rivalry with Neji to be more interesting plot lines than Naruto and Sasuke's. And I'd be a more active Lee fan, but most of the fandom likes Gaara/Lee, and I like Lee/Sakura. The Gaara vs. Lee fight is amazing though! I cried too!

They were my first and ultimate Naruto ship. And I ended up getting sick of the fandom just for the fact that I couldn't find many fanfics of them. I was so overwhelmed by a majority of SasuSaku/NaruHina/NejiTen/ShikaIno fanfics I ended up hating the couples.

#13... I can't formulate a full response because I don't know the context well, but I will say this: A. Ritsuka hardly acts twelve, from what I gather, and is mentally/emotionally an adult (though sexually naive); B. My perspective is probably skewed from having been a fourteen year old in love with a twenty-six year old woman (and yes, I was in love with her) and currently being in a relationship with a guy nine years older than I am; C. As I said... Ritsuka is a fictional character who does not act twelve. From what I've seen, he's not presented like a twelve-year-old.

Now, if this someone was being creepy-obsessive-stalkery and emphasizing that Ritsuka is a kid himself or something... or if someone were in love with, oooh... well, [insert kid character who is presented as a kid character BECAUSE I CANNOT THINK OF ANYONE RIGHT NOW here], that's a whole different ball game.

All she said was that the scene Soubi was talking about biting Ritsuka's tongue made her uncomfortable, because it was hitting 'too close to home' and she was quote 'there now.'

I know she plays WoW with a boy that lives down the street from her, and I really don't know the entire situation but I'm just not comfortable knowing she feels or felt that she's 'in love' with a 12-year-old.
I respect that you mentioned you've been in a similar situation, but this 'woman' seems to fall in and out of love rather quickly and I don't really believe she knows what she's talking about.


The whole situation just made me uncomfortable.

30 - IAWTS 100%!!!! Lee is the first character in that series I fell in love with (I don't care for the series itself, but I do like a couple of the characters), and I honestly can't understand why there are those out who DON'T like him. I hate going with the trend by saying this, but I lose respect for people who dislike him. I really shouldn't say that, and I'm certain someone is gonna prove me wrong, but my initial reaction is to jump down someone's throat whenever he/she starts talking smack about Lee seriously. It hurts. 'Cause he's so awesome. And I should shut up now.

37 - Duo is <3 <3 <3!! Quatre and him are my favorite charas from GW. It is hard to get better than them, so I can understand your predicament (I am also single, but mainly for the fact that I'm uninterested).

4. Oh honey, there is nothing to be embarrassed about Ken & Daisuke are fan favs, especially if you write them as a pairing. When the 02's fandom was still active there were so many fanfics of them being posted on a daily basis. It was crazy! Trust me, you're among like minded people. ^_^

07) Legends and GUTS for the win! It's amazing how hyped up I still get watching those shows.
09) Kronkma was so canon. XD It kinda creeps me out at the same time it amuses me.
11) For some reason I want to think those two are Mae Whitman and Dante Basco because of Katara/Zuko and Jake/Rose shipping. I'm not sure, though, so don't take my word for it! *teardrop* Although, pairing them would weird me out since Mae's 19 teens and Dante 32. DX
21) Steve Irwin was amazing, and he essentially made Animal Planet back in the day. His love and passion for his work was admirable, and it's great to see that same passion passed down to his daughter. Crikey, has it been a year already? Wow.
30) LEEEEEEEEEE!!!1one You totally picked the right character to love in the series. He's so awesome, and his hard work and dedication are incomparable to any other character, and maybe even any other person. I really admire him, and whenever I feel like wimping out on something like climbing five flights of stairs up my school parking garage I use his self-imposed rule technique and ride it out. Not to mention, I'm super crazily absolutely undeniably in love with him. <3

That show is still my favorite thing in the entire world. It kicks the ASS out of Japanese Sonic continuity. It kicks the ASS out of most other Saturday morning cartoons of the time. It even kicks the ASS out of the Archie comic series except maybe the first 22 issues of Knuckles, which I also love dearly with my entire heart. ♥ That cartoon had heart and soul and originality and honestly, is unlike anything else I've ever seen. I ♥ it so. XDD

But, uh, yeah. Sonic fandom is nuts.
