Dress shoes, dress casual, boots, athletic, something else? Also, about how many pairs do you have? How do you store/organize them?

I don't wear anything that doesn't look good with blue jeans, because I don't wear anything except blue jeans unless I have to.

Mostly, sneakers. One pair.

I also have a pair of winter boots for snow.

I go barefoot a lot in the summer, but I'm hoping to get a pair of sandals this summer.

Flip-flops around the house. Waterproof steel-toed boots at work. Converse anywhere else. They all stay in one pile on the floor until I want a pair.

I try to own as few shoes as possible because shoes kind of bore me and I don't like having to make decisions about what to buy or wear any more than absolutely necessary. I live in a place that gets both very cold and very hot and I need particular shoes for work, though, so I actually own about ten pairs just to cover all the bases.

I have... six pairs. Two pairs of high-heeled shoes, one pair of boots for winter, one pair of trainers, one pair of flat slip-on shoes and one pair of ballerinas. I keep the ones I'm using by my front door, and the others in a closet when they're out of season.

I like comfortable shoes but will wear heels on special occasions. My shoes I wear most often I keep in a basket by my bed: classic black/white Converse, black braided leather sandals (flat), black sandals (tiny wedge), brown knee boots, white sandals (tall wedge), black oxfords.

Other shoes I own which I don't wear that often are in a box in my closet: gold strappy heeled sandals (EVIL, I had to get them for a wedding and they were really uncomfortable), dark purple T-strap heels w/ brown stacked heel (most comfortable heels I own), navy blue pumps, metallic pewter loafters (too small), brown gladiator type sandals (flat), vintage 1940s-50s black satin pumps, black "character shoes", white oxfords, blue flipflops (for beach/public shower use ONLY).

Boots, mostly, and dress casual. I have to wear shoes that cover my whole foot, so it's either that or sneakers, and I only wear sneakers when I work out.

I actually don't have that many, maybe five pairs total, two that I wear on a day-to-say basis. Been trying to cut back on buying and good boots are expensive.

I store/organize them wherever they happen to land when I take them off.

Boots with low heels are my fav, with the more equestrian feel the better. I even wear them in the summer and don't care about the bewildered looks I get!

I have two pairs of knee-high ones (one brown and one black), one black pair that's about ankle length and has laces, and one black pair with a broken heel that I should just toss but I'm really fond of the design.

Runners? One pair. I have one pair of good, hardy shoes and I live on the west coast of Canada so I don't...need anything else because weather here doesn't ever get to the point where I need boots and fuck sandals.

I put them on the shoe rack thingie by the door. It stores shoes?

I wear these Clarks desert boots almost every single day, to the point that I'm about to need a new pair. They go with everything, and I tend to alternate between jeans/t-shirt casual and slightly less casual/feminine looks these days (I wear more skirts than I used to):

I used to wear a lot of sneakers (I grew up wearing nothing but Chuck Taylors and combat boots) but I really don't anymore. I do have a couple of pairs of sneakers though -- some Simples (I miss that brand), standard black Chuck Taylor low tops, worn out suede Pumas, tan hemp Chuck Taylors, a pair of grey low-top classic-style Vans (I do wear those sometimes, so I guess I lied). I also have a pair of leather Adidas Sambas I use as running shoes

The one pair I used the most are Vans classic. Black white trim.

I don't even know how many pairs of shoes I have. I love high heels, and I own at least fifteen pairs of those - probably more - but I don't wear them on a day to day basis. I wear boots or flats, but never sneakers except when I'm exercising.

Oddly, I don't think I own anything with a low heel. It's high or flat, no in-between. And I store all my shoes badly, I can never find the pair I'm looking for.

Gray converse slip-ons. Fuck shoelaces.

Sometimes flip-flops. I have black and brown.

I'm boring.

The pair I wear the most are these years old Vans (I love the design). I mostly wear sneakers but sometimes I'll own a pair or two of boots and some sort of dressy sandal.

I like shoes, but I've never been a big shoe person. I don't think I've ever owned more than five pairs of shoes at a time. (And not usually that.)

I wore Uggs every single day this past winter and my feet were so warm and happy and I don't care that they are the most hated shoes besides Crocs.

I pretty much just wear boots. Since I take a size 11 in women's shoes, I usually end up buying them in the men's department (sad). Decent boots are expensive, but durable, so I really just have the one pair that I wear all the time, summer and winter.

I have trainers(sneakers), big clunky New Rocks and a new pair of hush puppy boots that I got a little while ago, plus two pairs of ballet-like slipper shoes. My New Rocks are downstairs in the hall and my other shoes are lined up by heel height in my room against a wall.

I have four!

I have Vans sneakers (purple, I've added orange shoelaces), Vans slip-ons (these!), these awesome stompy things (bought them in Amsterdam after a few weeks of discovering that cobblestones and really thin-soled Vans were a BAD IDEA), and these snow boots, albeit in a different colour (this, but knee-high).

I also have purple floral slippers :|

The boots and sneakers stay in my closet, on the shoe rack. Technically, the veggie boots and Vans slip-ons are meant to be on the shoe rack too, but I use them so often that they usually stay just pushed under my bed, still within view but out of tripping range.

Er, there's also a few pairs of leather shoes from my pre-vegan days that I no longer wear (sneakers, Birkenstock sandals, and a pair of 'nice' shoes which I have to find a non-animal replacement for), but they're earmarked to be donated.

For the summer, cheap flats. Winter, big ugly Sorels that let you laugh at how cold and miserable all the morons walking through the snow and slush in their soaked-through Uggs must be. In-between seasons, short boots with a small heel. I also keep slippers at school to change into in the winter. I also have 2 identical pairs of heels except one is black and one is white. Usually I keep the ones in active use beside the door and the out-of-season ones on top of the closet.

All of the above, depending on the occasion. I tend to wear boots more than anything, though, since I live in northern climes and tennis shoes, cute as they might be, just don't cut it in the winter.

Around 30 pairs. About 20 pairs of heels, 3 pairs of sandals, 2 pairs of rain boots, 2 pairs of athletic shoes (one for running, one for other fitness activities), 3 pairs of boots.

I keep three shoe bag hangers in my closet for heels and sandals, outside shoes in the mudroom. My shoes are arranged basically in order of how often I wear them. I don't worry about having too many shoes or anything like that. Some people like purses or coats or jewelry. I like shoes.

Pair of Toms (gift from mother-in-law) - so comfy, but have developed a hole in the toe.
Pair of soft boots that sadly didn't get much wear this winter (too wet - they're like sponges).
Pair of army/doc-like boots that lace up.
Pair of sneaks I don't wear too often (cheapies from horrible w-m, not terribly comfy).
Pair of sandals for summer.

I wear shoes. Granted, my only criterion for what I call a “shoe” is "you wear it on your feet". For some reason though I have more shoes than I want. Five, I think.

I live in sandals but have two pairs of sneakers. I wear them when wearing sandals would be very bad for my feet. I have "professional" high heels and "fancy dress" high heels. I hardly ever wear them except for at weddings and crap.

I have owned all of these shoes for 6+ years. My sandals only stick together because I repair then when they come apart. My heels are the only ones in any kind of good condition if I'm being honest. I don't really care though. They're all still functional and I like them.

A gorgeous pair of dark brown leather heels I bought at Goodwill for ninety-nine cents I wear when I'm lazing around the house. (I can't believe in high heels are real footwear, they're purely decorative and not meant to be used functionally)

Today I bought some anklet boots and another pair of high heels to wear around the house.

These are all the shoes I own and they all sit on a little shelf by the doorway to my room.
