Is there good slang for frenulum? Because that's kind of a clinical word the secret workplace blowjob scene I'm writing. Also? Blowjob scenes (and m/m sex scenes in general) are kind of hard to write when you don't find the words cock and dick to be in the slightest bit sexy. But I do it, because I know most people don't like penis, but I may stop. Because there's nothing quite like reading this nice, flowing scene of lusty love and then COCK! DICK! They're such hard, hammer-blow of words, which do have their place I suppose, but I dunno.

Anyway, I'm about halfway through my second sex scene of this story, and I realized today that they maybe kind of lean on the side of dubcon. I'm not sure, but if anything, I guess not being sure about whether it's dubcon or not, is a pretty big neon sign that it IS.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Cock just sounds crude, dick comes off as humorous to me, and penis is too clinical. WHAT TO DO.

I figure that's what most people prefer, so it's usually what I use when writing sex scenes. Maybe I just don't like it because it's basically identical to the Swedish word kock (which means "chef").

I tend to go with "erection" and "shaft," or just say things like, "she took him into her mouth" and avoid using a euphemism at all when I can. I'll sometimes use "cock," but I don't' really prefer it; it's not sexy to me.

Cock and dick are the only words I can take seriously. Penis is too clinical but is okay. Shaft I can deal with to break the monotony but most other terms make me giggle or roll my eyes.

Most people don't mention the frenulum seperately unless there is a really good reason. In which case they would call it the frenulum. Generally in fanfiction the penis is separated into the head, the shaft, the base, and the balls.

So...what's your question, exactly? You can write sex scenes without ever using cock/dick, just say "skin" in place of frenulum (seriously, why would you even use the technical term), and we can't say if something is dubcon when you give us no example.

Also, you don't have to write sex scenes if you don't want to. Not everyone is about the porn. :)

I...didn't say I don't want to write sex scenes? They're pretty important to this story, and I enjoy them, they're just challenging. My only question was whether there was an acceptable slang term for frenulum. The rest was just observation in hopes of keeping my mind on this story instead of on distractions.

I personally prefer dicks in my fanfiction to be called "DNA Rifle"s.
