I hear ya, I hear ya.

BUT. I can't remember for sure when it comes to Basch, but in the case of Luke I've seen plenty of official Japanese merchandise/art that romanizes his name "Fone Fabre". (Although that technically means that the translators still got it wrong, but you catch my drift.)

Maybe look into getting a good beta that will give honest concrit and feedback? If you're writing fic. If "writing for fandom" is meta or...just writing fandom posts or something then I don't know.

I dunno. In theory it wouldn't be impossible, etcobiology aside. Especially if it was a strong pairing.

Though because of how their culture works, it just wouldn't matter in any way other then their own relationship's potential.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it difficult to find artists for all the writers for BBs? Maybe the person knows they're bad but doesn't want a writer to feel left out.

What's funny about this is that the show has made it clear that Regina's relationship with her son is probably one of the few redeeming traits of her character and that she genuinely cares for her him.

My first thought was definitely FiW as opposed to the main show...their music is actually excellent - don't be afraid.

I don't think Harris is the type of writer to deliberately make a crappy book. Like them or not put it's pretty obvious that he puts a lot of work into his stuff in research alone, for example the Venice section in Hannibal.

And fwiw a lot of people did like Hannibal and the direction it took. It was hardly universally panned. (Hannibal Rising, on the other hand...))
