I'm confused - I thought the producers said in season 1 that they weren't going to go down the incest route? That they were going to play up that Lucrezia and Cesare did have an incredibly close/borderline incestuous relationship, but not go all the way. If so, I hope they don't follow the rumours/gossip that Lucrezia also had an incestuous relationship with her father.

...though I am waiting for Cesare to have syphilis. He's pretty, so it'll be fun to watch.

Yeah... in season 1. These days their attitude is much more along the lines of "this is the television event you've been waiting for" and such.
