(Anonymous) 2013-04-23 05:33 am (UTC)(link)I'm been through this myself (if I could go back in time I would tell myself to take an anatomy class if I wanted to be a better artist and no bad anime is not a style because good anime is based off real anatomy and guess what part little me is missing because I didn't care I was doing fine teaching myself and having no one tell me what I was doing wrong) and I've seen other people do it too, stop handling people with kid gloves and telling them everything they shit out is good.
You want to help artists and make them feel better? Tell them how to improve. Tell them it's better then what you can do and if they keep going they'll be amazing. Don't tell them their bad art is a style.
