I never see anyone complaining about letting bad writers into big bangs, why should the artists all have to be good? BBs aren't about artists serving writers, it's about artists and writers working together to make both people happy and give each person something they can enjoy. If you want a great and awesome picture for your fic, go commission one and pay a professional, don't go looking for free art in an amateur setting and then get pissy when you get an amateur art piece in return. Yeah I can understand the disappointment, but that's the risk of submitting to a BB.
