I don't usually say "Fuck You" to op's but in this case FUCK YOU. I feel honored whenever I get fanart based on something that I write no matter the quality of the art and as for MS Paint apparently you never heard of Nintendodrawer on Deviant Art or a web comic known as Homestuck.

I've never heard of Nintendodrawer, and the only reason I've even heard about Homestuck is because of FS. My guess is that there's more to them than simply MS Paint artwork, though.

She has upgraded to photoshop but her earlier works involved MSpaint and a mouse. I had thought she always used photoshop but nope it does take more than just a program and its called skill, talent and style. You make some surprising works with mspaint and you can make crap with photoshop.

that's nice that you have no standards but the rest of us are entitled to. but then you are someone using homestuck as a case for quality so is that surprising?

I do have standards and I have given concrit before to other artists...however I do not say anything when its gift art. I have received gift art that I could have done better on but I don't say anything. You know why? BECAUSE IT IS A GIFT. Someone likes my stories or characters well enough that they want to draw them. I never insult a gift.

As for Homestuck well I never read it. I don't even know who the hell the characters are just that it's about trolls.
