I think you don't understand the purpose of Big Bangs then, OP.

You say you "don't understand why people who lack skills in drawing or art do art for Big Bangs." But what is not to understand? They're doing it for fun, for practice, to be a part of their fandom... all of the various reasons that apply to writers apply to the artists too. Asking people to self-exclude themselves from fun optional fandom activities because they are somehow "not good enough" is kind of like saying that it is pointless for people to have recreational hobbies at all.
