I would do so much worse than this if I had to draw on a computer.

Anyway, I think it's pretty cute. Simplistic for sure, but it could be worse. And sorry, but I find it dickish that you used this persons art instead of just letting the secret stand for itself.

Since art is subjective you can't exactly set a 'standard' for submissions so...what can you do?

(Now I agree it sucks if the fanfic author doesn't like their art, but that's always going to be a possibility.)

My guess is that they received this art in exchange for their fic and want to make the artist feel bad without looking like a mean person.

But they're still mean, and I hope they know it.
