Re: Driving

(Anonymous) 2013-04-22 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I got my license when I was 17, but I am a terrible driver and never did much driving back then, and then I moved to college and couldn't afford a car, and then moved to Japan where I didn't need one, and here I am 10 years later still not really knowing how to drive (though I do have a license.)

Same thing happened to me, only I moved to Toronto, not Japan, LOL. I've done the written once since then, but I think my subconscious made me fail hard because I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate the idea of driving...I hated it the whole time I had my learner's and I kept getting it renewed without ever taking the road test, because I knew I would fail like a failing failure due to my nerves. I was a proficient driver, it was just the nerves that got me All. The. Time.
