What are some commercials that annoy you for whatever reason? The ones that make you dive for your remote and say, "NO!!!! NOT THIS ONE!"

I ask because I dive for the remote every time the Time Warner Direct Demand commercial comes on for The Game of Thrones. The one where Daenerys asks, "Where are my dragons? Find my dragons." They play that commercial every time I turn on the television. Makes me want to yell back at the television, "Will someone help that woman find her dragons to shut her up already?"

Actually, it really makes me laugh...and I'm annoyed that I laugh.

in canada here I'm getting really sick of the Shaw cable commercials where a vampire movie turns into a hockey game turns into a soap opera. Actually all of their commercials. Love their service, don't care for their marketing.

For some reason the Tim Horton's commercial for their "Roll up the rim to win" sweepstakes drove me absolutely insane. I think it was the way they were rolling all the Rs in the voiceover. But MUTE BUTTON THANK YOU.

There was also a Blue Cross/Blue Shield commercial that had music that was for some reason absolutely intolerable with my misophonia last year, but it doesn't bother me so much as it used to anymore. Now it just sounds like jingly music instead of deafening peals of terror. Not sure what changed.

Honestly I'm glad roll up the rim is over now. XD I never win more than a coffee or a donut and I kind of stopped drinking Timmy's anyway, it's too weak for my 'so not a morning person' body.

The "We are Farmers" insurance commercials. Dear fuck, that jingle at the end makes me want to punch babies. Also, the local Kia commercials that have this awful little brat saying "And remember, we wanna see ya in a Kia" in the most annoying voice. Makes me want to torch the nearest Kia dealership.

...Goddamn I'm in a violent mood today.

I love those Farmers commercials so much.

They don't annoy me so much as make me leap for the remote in a desperate bid to keep my heart in one piece, but: those anti-cruelty videos with soulful Sarah MacLachlan music playing in the background? While an abused puppy looks at you through bars with quotes like "Why did they hurt me? I tried to be good. Why did they leave me here? All I wanted was LOOOOVE."

GAH. Screw those commercials.

Just imagine it's Cave Johnson teaching Farmers agents how to make grenades from lemons.

Swedish Comhem commercials piss me off. They take various viral videos and edit them to star these two old women to show how ~*~hip~*~ they are or some shit.

Naah... I'd say that the damned Toffifee commersial is worse. What's one supposed to do to "have fun" with it?! At least the ComHem clips makes more sense.

There's this late-night infomercial that comes up on most of the movies I watch/DVR at 1 AM, and it's in every commercial break. It's about two minutes long. It's for one of those devices to assist the elderly in getting up the stairs and I've seen it about fifty times (I don't...skip commercials in recordings because I'm stupid like that), and I still don't recall the company name.

Aww... I love that commercial. The repeating audio is kind of annoying, yeah, but the dragon is so cute that it doesn't really bother me.

The ones I can't stand are those AT&T Uverse commercials with the kids talking about how 'back in my day' TVs didn't have such-and-such features. The joke was barely decent the first time, and they keep making more and more and playing them constantly, so it's really worn out its welcome.

Any Zoot ad ever. Now I think of it, I haven't seen those ads in years. Maybe the stupid company folded.

I hate the whole campaign with that "Chaos" guy...

I'm getting sick of the quit smoking ones. They seem to be pretty prevalent around the NYC area and there's all these different ones and as a nonsmoker, they bother me. I know not to smoke, I know why I don't smoke, please don't subject me to this every night when I just want to watch Jeopardy.

Anything that has puppies or babies talking or walking in ways they shouldn't. The newer Andrex adverts freak me out like you wouldn't believe :(

The weight watchers commercial with the Saturday Night Live lady. I had that stupid song stuck in my head for days.

The OTC commercials on Youtube. All the time they aired before my videos I kept thinking "Who is this guy?". X(

The direct opposite of this is the Malaysia Nestle 100 Years commercial. I would watch that thing for a dozen times if it appears again. :)

Anything with a baby doing adult things like talking like a grown man or dancing or something else creepy and weird and unnecessary.

Any commercial for any cleaning product where a woman is cleaning while male members of the family are just playing around or lazing about UGH

The Kit-Kat commercials where the jingle is made up of the sounds of people chewing. Sets off my misophonia so bad, and I have to mute the tv/rip my headphones off before something is punched.

Actually, pretty much any commercial that has chewing/slurping noises.

There was also a car commercial that was just a woman screaming at the top of her lungs. I only saw it on Youtube, and you can imagine how obnoxious it was to listen to that on every video.

EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TALKING BABY COMMERCIAL. I forget who's using it now because I don't really watch TV, but I really fucking hate that everyone seems to think it's ~so cute~ when NO, IT'S FUCKING CREEPY. STOP MAKING THAT BABY TALK LIKE A FULL-GROWN PERSON. AAAAAAARGH.

Also, I think I see it in still ads more than commercials (because again, not an avid watcher of TV), but I really fucking hate it when they show babies with food on their face. It's like, what are you trying to say? "Your baby will love this goop so much it'll smear it all over its face instead of eating it!" It's always green or brown, too. Uhg. Makes my stomach turn >_<

Non-baby-related: that Abreva commercial that comes on for streaming videos. Ridiculously bad fighting posture aside (now instead of a cold sore, you have a fat lip from keeping your fists in front of your face!), the whole hand-turning-to-reveal-the-photoshopped-Abreva thing is...ergh. Once would be enough, but it happens three times in that damn commercial. Just stop it already.

Those DirecTV commercials “more annoying than…”, “worse than…”. If looking at wires is worse than see a guy with leeches all over, then you probably need to check your priorities.

On the other hand, I do find it hilarious that the dairy industry is so threatened by people drinking soy milk, almond milk, rice milk, coconut milk, anything other than pus-filled bovine lactations that rot your bones and torture your digestive system, that they have to resort to 'omg but soy tastes icky and makes you pull faces'.
