"doesn't enjoy satire" is kind of an overly broad statement though because satire is used in many different ways

I don't enjoy satire for the same reason I don't enjoy the breaking of the fourth wall in fandom: it's too meta for me. I want my entertainment to be entertaining, my news to be news, and in-depth analysis that I'm not interested in to be left to the sidelines. So, I generally avoid satire, unless it's very soft.
