I have a similar problem but I completely believe they should be able to post what they want.

There's this person I follow that posts some of the funniest and greatest stuff. However, they also use the blog to deal with their depression. Their depression, if I pay attention to it, can really drag me down to a dark place so for me it's a "should I keep following them or not?" I mean, I think it's great that they've found a place where they feel comfortable expressing themselves and they have people to support them. I feel like shit for even thinking of unfollowing them but I did have to think about it seriously since it was detrimental to my emotional wellbeing. Eventually I came up with a tactic for figuring out which post is depressing and which is funny before reading it. I use that and the scroll button as needed.
