I learned to drive shortly before my 18th birthday (which is the standard time to do so in my country). I failed the exam on my birthday and finally got the licence about a month later.

I drove regularly for about a year, even if it was in the country/a small town and usually just the same roads. Then I moved to a city with lots of public transport and had no car, so I rarely drove.

Now, at 25, I'm just completely out of practice and a bit anxious about driving, especially somewhere I've not been been before and in cities. :(
