I don't know?

I do know I refuse to shop at my local Best Buy because the people who work there are sexist, repeatedly, to me and all my friends on multiple occasions. It just became plain incompetence after a while depending on what we were there for.

Because they probably don't realize they're doing it and/or they're lazy? I guess it's a lot easier to assume your customer, because they are a woman, is a fucking idiot so you can dismiss their question/problems instead of having to, you know, do your actual job. Others assumed they had a cheap trick to get us to buy things because they knew how our minds worked as women. They're not even paid on commission so I don't actually understand that approach.

Yeah, there are a shit ton of other electronic stores in the area who have much better employees. I go to them.

It's sad though, because overall I like BestBuy's management. As far as I know they don't actively screw over their customers like, say, GameStop, for example. However, even though I hate GameStop's management for being the biggest assholes, their employees are some of the best I've ever dealt with. At least in my area they are.

I don't even know what to say, Norway don't exactly have great customer service, but it isn't gender based bad customer service, it is just generally bad customer service. Though I always get great custmore service no matter where I go, I dunno why? Oh I can use a youtube clip to get my point across: http://youtu.be/rsyouRyUWXo... it is at least kinda relevant...

Wait? GameStop is bad? We got that in Norway too, I've never had any issues with them at all...

Oh my gosh that is hilarious. He's really funny. I guess it's a good thing that it's equally bad then, for you guys? I would say I wish our system was more like yours but I'm not going to lie, sometimes receiving good customer service is the highlight of my day. It sounds sad but sometimes it's just really amazing and awesome when you get someone who is competent and nice.

On the low scale, your local shop? Probably not. That's determined by the individual employees and at least the ones in my area tend to hire great people. Management though? The upper people are notorious for pissing off gaming companies and customers alike doing really shady shit. For example, this. This is not the first bad thing they've done and it's not the last.
