Well I used to think so, when I was younger, but now I find that I generally find people more and more attractive the more I get to know them. Like, if I know and like a person well enough, I'll lose the ability to understand why nobody would want to date them, know what I mean?

But I have noticed that none of the people/celebrities that I found attractive from the moment I saw them are American ...

yep, I totally understand.. once you know about a person's inner beauty you can see it shine through whatever their outward appearance is.

And likewise once you know someone is a complete jerk it's hard to see their pretty face anymore.

I'm the exact opposite, and it really makes dating hard. The more I know people, the less I find them attractive (sexually or romantically, anyway.) It's hard to explain. :(

I'm the same way. The more I like someone's personality, the more likely I am to find them physically attractive (even if I didn't on first glance).
