I thought the image was a photo too until your comment. Hot damn that's some beautiful art.

As for Hannibal, I find the show fascinating and have thought about looking for fanworks, but...I just have a feeling the fandom is going to be a huge letdown. IDK where to look other than tumblr, and when I check tumblr after the show it's mostly people talking about how attractive they find Mads.

Not that I know of. Searching the title of the series is what I've always done.

If you're interested in specific characters you can search by their names and that will cut down on some of the clutter, but you probably know all this. Tumblr is kind of a mess but that's how things work.

Thanks - I thought there was some magical thing I was missing, glad to know I wasn't missing a great trick. It really is bad search ;-) But it does bring such fun things.

there's actually about 200 fics on AO3 already. Some of it is very good. Some of it...less so.

good instincts. it's an artsy, critics' darling kinda show. fandoms for those are always letdowns.

fandom is at its best when dealing with source materials that could use some (or a lot of) fixing.
