Anon, there are people in GC who hate everything. People commenting on replies, people asking seemingly innocuous questions, puppies. Come to GC, enjoy GC.

I think there are just people around here who can't see a single thread slip by without hate. Like if the thread is not getting hate, they will supply it. I mean, is it even possible to hate some of the innocuous things that I've seen getting bashed?

I know how you feel, in a way. There are sometimes I don't really care about the fandoms in the secrets, and then I'm like "is this ok?" when I skip ahead to GC over the comments for the fandoms.

But yeah it's OK, so join us in GC =D

Don't feel too bad. Today's the one day I'm at all active in secret comment threads.

Same here, anon, but honestly, it's not like there's anyone keeping track. "Hey, [user x] posted in the GC, but I can't find a single comment of theirs under the secrets! This is going on their permanent record."

Don't be too sure. Spreadsheet!anon might be keeping track of that.

Yeah, I had the same feeling once or twice when I'm confronted with a secret post with unrecognizable fandoms. But after some thinking over several days, I realized that I actually liked to comment on other people's threads and I really like that in GC I can talk and replay to so much without ever being called too nosy or inquisitive.

It's probably different for some people, but I really find it refreshing.

I hardly ever comment on the secrets anymore, but I am about 85.9% gafiated at this point; I spend lots and lots of time on GC though.Dunno if that's a good thing now that the weather is improving. :-P

It's okay! No one is going to hate you for just posting in GC. (And if they do, let them. WHO CARES ABOUT THEM ANYWAY?!) If you have nothing to say about the secrets, you have nothing to say. *shrugs*

Sometimes I comment on the secrets. Sometimes the secrets bore me and I just stay in the GC. Sometimes everything bores me and I go do something else.

I believe I've just commented in secret posts or on the GC threads before, so I don't think it matters in the scheme of things OP.

A lot of the time I'll skim the secrets and if I have no interest in them it kind of saps any interest I had at interacting here at all. *shrug* Then some days I comment everywhere. Whatever floats your boat.

Don't worry about it nonny <3 I'm pretty much only in one fandom at a time and my fandom hasn't had a secret her in months so I'm pretty much strictly GC (and even then rarely) now even though I skim the secrets here every day. At the end of the day, it's just what makes you happy :)

I almost never comment on secrets. I come mostly for GC and if there's a secret I feel like commenting on, great! Don't feel like you're 'not allowed' or anything. Most people wouldn't notice one way or another anyways.

Anon, there's no rule! I do this too, especially if the secrets are very specific to fandoms I don't know (which is often the case).

Don't worry too much, OP. Sometimes there's a whole batch of secrets I have no idea what they are about, so I don't comment either. And I actually don't comment much in the GC section. Oh the humanity.
