Were you already familiar with said actor's work/a fan?

Because I'm 99.99% of the time with the 'I recognise that this is an aesthetically attractive person' without any sexual stuff, but there are a couple of actors who, after falling in emotional fangirl-love with one of their characters, I ended up finding extraordinarily physically attractive, even in their outside appearances and other work.

(then again, my 'extremely attractive' is more 'I would like to look at photographs of you wearing revealing clothing very much and i will get distracted by looking at said photographs if they are in front of me' rather than 'i would like to lick you and rub against you', so IDK, it might be different.)

With actors I have to do the emotional thing first before I'll look a them. Which is mostly men, and I'm not attracted to men IRL most of the time. It's confusing. I hardly ever encounter female actors whose roles I'm attracted to, due to a limited range for women I'd say, but IRL I'm likely to fall in lust (or love) with women. But never often enough for any of this, I wish I was someone who had crushes easily. Sexual attraction is fun.

OP here and nope. Just saw the dude and was all "omg what is this fuck". And the more I saw him the more I wanted all up on that. I did end up falling in love with his character but the initial attraction was just sudden and (embarrassingly) purely based on looks.
