I'm with you. I've given up on a business model that depends on throwing all of the characters into a blender every 24 months or so to sell a big "event," killing off characters to be edgy, and then rewriting them a year later with a "fresh" creative team. And my reading list is too deep right now to make room for much in the way of independent graphic novel releases.
