I hate hurt, but I love comfort.
I hate when there's not enough canon!interaction/shipping!material for a pairing to work for me... but I love crossover pairings.
I hate Sentinel!AUs, but I love Crossovers with Sentinel.
I hate Omega!Verse, almost any type of "supernatural" or whatever bonding, etc... but I love Shifter!Stories.
I hate the concept of soulmates, bonding, imprinting, etc... but I love when one half of a pairing is there because he/she/it is obligated to because of outside (usually very tangible and almost never supernatural) circumstances (for example a promise).
I hate Slavery!AUs, and consent issues, but I love when one half of a pairing is bounded by circumstances.
I hate MPreg and strongly dislike Genderswap!Stories, but I love GenderBent!AUs.

I also dislike hurt, but the comfort can totally be worth it. What is the difference between Genderswap and Genderbent?

They can be used interchangeably, but I think what the different anon was trying to say is that they dislike it when someones gender changes within the context of the story, but they like AU's where the gender was always different than the canon.
