You need context for "This character triggers my gender dysphoria, and that upsets me because I can't enjoy the show he's on anymore"? Seems pretty straightforward.

Yes, why wouldn't you be able to ask for context? Just looking at the secret, i have no idea if what is triggering them is this dude's looks, maybe some quirk or habit the character has, a part of his storyline, whatever. all of those things would be completely valid, but with a little more context it'd be easier to commiserate/share similar experiences.

See, to me that is still a pretty broad thing? I don't know can mean 'I totally don't know at all what sets me off about him' or 'it is something about his face/behaviour/voice/whatever but i can't put my finger exactly on what'. With how often the secrets posted only tell half the story, either because the whole story doesn't fit on the secret or because people expect their fandom to be better known than it is, there is nothing wrong with asking for a little more context.

True, I guess. I read it as this being a secret (and a problem for OP) largely because he sets them off and they don't know why, but could be open to interpretation as you say.
