I don't know. I haven't loved Wonder Woman like I do with her new storyline in years. It's like something Gaiman would do, if he did Wonder Woman. But instead of the Endless you have the Olympians. And out of all versions of Wonder Woman, I think this one would translate best for a show.

I like the new Wonder Woman book well enough, I think it's well written and the plot is interesting and the art is good... but I hate what they had to do to her origin story and the Amazons and Themyscira to get there.

I know right? Why bother with a heroine being given life because of a mother's ache for her child and then raised with the love of a thousand mothers when you can do the old child of Zeus/everyone hates her cliche backstory? WHY change it? What the hell does the new backstory add that the old one was lacking?

IKR? Plus, I think Wonder Woman is probably the only place I've seen Amazons NOT being described as crazy man-haters. But nope. Now that's gone too. Good job, DC. Go work on making all your heroes more like Batman some more, that's the key to the fans' hearts.
