I lost almost 60 lbs with SparkPeople a few years ago. I've managed to keep off 50 of that with periodic maintenance.

Yeah, you'll gain back a little (probably), but don't let that get you down. Unless you plan on counting calories for the rest of your life, it's going to happen. Fear not - if you're really committed, you'll manage to work it right back off :-)

I'm glad to hear you were successful!

I actually don't find counting calories that much of a pain, at least not with computer help. I'm not sure I'll do it for the rest of my life but actually the idea doesn't bother me that much. Especially since I can miss a day here and there without it really mattering that much.
