Wanting a beautiful human, especially a woman, to be at home waiting for you when you come back from work or school still sounds douchey, no matter what gender you identify as.
I get what OP was trying to say, but I have met so many people by now who really wanted their partner to pamper their ass like a housewife from Pleasantville once they came home from "earning the money", so whenever I have to read such a sentence I just cringe.

A partner is a partner, not a butler. Their lives don't revive around you just because they love you.

Because we can only *assume* that the OP isn't a giant douche and meant the benign meaning - we don't actually *know* that he expects his hypothetical girl friend to be waiting at home for him. So, just in case he is a douchecanoe someone pointed out the problematic nature what he said.
