Ishit only me that finds it a bit... weird thinking of Selena as an adult and not a teen? Not in a bad weird way just in that kind of new way. She looks so young.

Of course it also makes me feel weird because I've been ttold I look young. Does that mean it's hard for people to think of me as an adult? Dammit I already have enough trouble with that myself

I have that trouble too.

And I'm 25 and am still often assumed to be a high school/just graduated age. It has its ups and downs.

I'm almost 30 and I still get people thinking I'm in high school or college because I'm very petite, baby-faced and not busty. It doesn't matter what I'm wearing, either. Honestly, it doesn't bother me at all if it means people are going to be thinking I'm in my 20s when I'm 40. Why would I want to look old?

Enjoy looking young while you can, thread OP, because you'll have the vast majority of your life to look older. I honestly don't understand our society's obsession with wanting to appear older. Rock what you've got while you've got it!

Same age. Frequently disbelieved when I claim to be over eighteen.

My mother tells me some day I'll be grateful to look young.

I think she looks so young because we are so used to teenagers being played by adults in a lot of shows (obviously not 12 year ols, but more like, 16+). So it really distorts our view of both teenagers (we expect them to look older than most actual teens do) but at the same time actual young adults, we end up viewing as teenagers cause that is the image we get from tv.

I feel you on the looking young. clothes can help a lot. Getting proper fitted ones, avoiding certain styles. A change of haircut can make you look older too.
