Fans like to think they are smart for liking things, especially when they are not incredibly popular things, and like to yak about it. Especially when they think fans of succesfully renewed things are somehow responsible for their thing being cancelled.

Is there a word for tv show nationalism?

My mental term for it has been "being a K-Pop fan" for a while now. As in, when you do stuff like this, you're being a K-pop fan about the show you like.

honestly i'd rather classify those type of people as 'sasaeng fans' but as long as the outside world sees them as just general k-pop fans, this is a pretty harsh insult lmfao
