This really cracked me up! I love their pretend adversarial drama. In fact, I love all of the fake drama and tension those HGTV and similar shows try to inject into completely non-dramatic situations. "Which house will they choose??" "Will the new flooring arrive in time?!?" OMG THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!! Meanwhile, they guys over on This Old House are all, like, "LOL, you're just compensating for the fact that you don't have Norm Abram." and then they go and do awesome shit. Yes.

Nah, the pretend-adversarial drama is totally obvs. and fake. I love it when one or the other of them cracks up over a line. (Bonus points if they crack themselves up with their own line.)
