Isn't there a term for all-hurt-no-comfort? Whumpfic or something like that? (I'm not a fic person, so feel free to correct me on that.)

There's hurt/hurt, or hurt/no comfort.

Yeah, in my experience, most whump-fic that advertises itself as such dwells lovingly on the hurt and often skips the comfort entirely.
