I mostly watch Hannibal because of the squick factor. I haven't been truly affected by any sort of horror movie for a few years now, but cannibalism always sort of gets me. It fills the void.

(Also, I do like the acting, and the sort-of mysteries in each episode. I watch medical/police procedural shows a lot too, and this is a better show overall.)
