I don't think white as a term makes much sense in Europe. I mean if you go by skin colour alone it would include most of eastern Europe and they face quite a lot of discrimination around here.

This is really off topic, but apparently definition of Easter Europe depends mostly on where you are from. So where so do you, guys, have those imaginary "borders"?

Generaly it goes on if they are former sovjet nations or not.

That is interesting. I'm American, and Eastern Europeans are definitely white where I am (I have some Russian and Ukrainian ancestry and it has never even occurred to me that anyone would ever think I was not completely white). But as far as I know, Eastern European immigrants are not commonly discriminated against in the US today.

I think the taking our jobs blame always goes to whatever groups the biggest immigrant populations belong to. In the US that would be Mexico and South America, and southeast Asia in some regions, so Eastern Europe is mostly passed over in, uh, favor of those when Americans want to rant about stolen jobs.
