26. Awwww. Though that's certainly understandable. Going back to reread them in the last year, I got kind of bored. =/ even though I was a HUGE HUGE fan when I was like .. eleven, I don't even know.

But in all, the movies are actually an excellent condensation of the events of the books, so you don't have much to worry about. ♥ Like the anonymouse said, at least you tried! That's more than a lot of people can say. :<

I have alot of friends who really loved the books when they were younger and then couldn't quite love them the same way when they tried to read them as adults. It's like a weird little phenomenon or somesuch.
