18. was it that they were non-anime that they didn't get comments or that they were for a fandom so obscure that no one hardly knew what they were?

even with anime that is obscure, I find some secrets get ignored or hardly commented on.

I think it has less to do with anime vs. non-anime and more with recognition.

Yeah, I've posted at least two anime-related secrets that didn't get commented on just because they weren't well-known series, and I've seen non-anime fandom secrets get a fair amount of comments, so it's not necessarily true that anime secrets get more comments just because they're anime.

Some were obscure, some not so much. They weren't Harry Potter sort of non obscure though. That could have been it though, for my stuff. Can't judge for the other non anime things that have been posted recently.

I consider myself up to date on non-anime things on tv and in the media and a few books and there have been quite a lot of secrets posted where I had no idea who it was or what it referenced. But I could tell it wasn't a 'generic' secret and that it was obviously referencing a specific fandom.

I'm just thinking that a lot of secrets don't get comments because they have no idea who it is, that's all, regardless of being anime or not. it's something to consider.
