1. Add to this, the fact that in some places, unless you're 'seme', you don't get any attention from other characters whatsoever. Sad state of affairs. I -do- play characters with a mostly seme personality, but that shouldn't dictate if my character is favored or not. Engh.

Just playing bisexuals is fine for me, though. Leaves options open if I want to bother playing a relationship. :D

3. The reason I'm commenting with this LJ is because of this secret, and I'm absolutely flattered you'd think so! I really want to know who this is. ;-; I could guess, but it'd take the fun out of everything. :D

4. Force of habit. That and reading DN in japanese pretty much had me automatically saying it the way it's pronounced, but I have nothing against him being called Light. :3

5. It's true. You hit this so dead on that I felt like I submitted this. I was bitching to my best friend the other night about Dollfies, and don't get me wrong at one time I did want one. If I had a thousand dollars to randomly blow on something and not feel guilty over it I might still buy one, but only because I think they'd make a really nice reference for figure drawing. I can't agree with this, mainly because I own one. I honestly don't think I've changed since owning my doll :/ But then again, I can't really say.
I don't really treat him like a real person, he's still a doll, but yes I do take 9434354 photos of him. Because it's my hobby...
And you say people whinge because they can't afford another one because they've spent so much on the first one, it's pretty much the same for any hobby or fandom. Whilst making cosplay outfits, I'll spend a hell of a lot one month then have to wait till the next month to continue making it. But I don't whinge. It is kinda annoying when you see something you'd like but can't buy it. But I'm like that with a lot of things.

5. I just have to say - RESIN, not plastic. Also, $400 will not get you a full size doll like the one in that picture. Think $700-$800 instead.

And any person who gets stroppy and emo when people don't reply to photos of their dolls would be that way regardless of the subject matter - "Waahhh no one comments on my artwork/RP logs/fanfiction/icons" etc. And, yes, anyone like that deserves a slapping.

You'd never believe it, but there are actually people who go out to work and can afford dolls, and thusly don't sit around complaning about not being able to.

Hey, 24, I totally feel you. An untalented friend wanted me to beta for him, and because he was a mod on a forum I like and could make things complicated for me, I pretended to read the chapters he sent. I only offered grammatical help because the story was beyond fixing and I didn't want to put that much effort into telling him so.

The story was fucking BAD, but enough people either didn't care, were too nice, or have terrible standards and now he thinks he can write. Oops.
