Oh, yes! It the one Smithers created, isn't it? It looked surprisingly good and insightful for a musical about Malibu Stacy.

I'm with you on this. A Musical version of Planet of the Apes would rock (assuming they did it as a rock opera).

I also want a H2G2 Musical. Maybe they can do Restaurant at the End of the Universe as a sequel to the movie in the form of a Broadway Musical. Douglas Adams would probably approve of that in some sort of twistedly funny way.

When I first saw this episode I was quite young, and I knew nothing about Planet of the Apes.

My best friend and I watched the whole movie waiting for the fun singing to start. Just... sitting. Waiting. In silence.



I still think it's the most boring movie ever and could only be improved with singing Apes.

I live the movie, personally, but this is kind of adorable. I had a vaguely similar issue with Paint You Wagon re: the real version vs. the Simpsons version. At least in that, there was actually still singing.
