(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)I stopped watching after the first half of season two when they axed Airachnid and Breakdown.
I really hated how Starscream was/is handled. Not because of his looks or behaviour, but because of how everybody else treats him, especially Megatron.
Sure, he's a real big asshole but the constant physical torture he had to endure made me sick after a while. It just stops being funny once it resembles an abusive relationship more than just "superior keeps his rebellious subordinate in check".
The hypermasculine appearance of TFP Megatron vs Starscream's "sexy" skinny frame isn't helping.
